Registered Nurse, Certified Massage
Therapist |

At
Health Essentials, we work as a team to
support our clients’ health and wellness.
I feel that if you are healthy, you are
able to live a more stress free lifestyle,
which cycles back to maintaining your health.
I have been an RN for over 30 years and
a Certified Massage Therapist for 8 years.
I feel that by incorporating massage into
my medical training, I can offer my clients
the best of holistic and traditional health
care.
I offer a variety
of massage techniques, depending on each client’s need. I use Integrated
Massage therapy, which is a combination of Swedish massage, along with many other
techniques such as myofacial release and cupping. These two techniques are very
specific for deep tissue work.
Massage therapy is
an extremely important part of health maintenance, and our local doctors are
also very supportive of this therapy. I feel that working as a Massage Therapist
has broadened my ability to assist my patients with a positive way to be healthy.

I attended
the Boulder School of Massage Therapy,
which included extensive bodywork in the
Shiatsu, Swedish, Integrative Massage and
Infant Massage. I have since expanded my
training to include Reflexology, Cranial
Work and Shoulder injury, as well as herbology
and essential oil therapy.
My specialties include
Reflexology, Cranial therapy, Trigger Point Therapy and Rain Drop Therapy. My
love of massage therapy is so rewarding because of the health benefits that my
clients receive. Remember, the best defense is a good offense. If we maintain
a healthy immune system, our bodies will fight illness and disease much more
effectively. Get your massage on a regular basis!

Today,
more than ever, it is important to take
care of yourself. Any positive lifestyle
changes will help to improve your health.
Massage therapy, healthy eating habits,
exercise and relaxation are some of the
most beneficial efforts.
I attended the Collinson
School of Therapeutics and Massage in Colorado Springs. I started October of
2004 and finished the 10 month course in June of 2005. We were exposed to many
different techniques: Swedish, Trigger Point, Deep tissue, Prenatal, Sports Massage,
and etc… We were also taught Hot Stone and Cold Stone treatments, along
with the importance of range of motion used with the massage. We were given a
tour of the Spa at the Broadmore Hotel and got to use the therapeutic showers,
tubs, saunas, and aromatherapy room. It was a great experience and we learned
a lot. I truly enjoy making people feel great!!
I offer Hot Stone
therapy, Cryotherapy, Prenatal Massage and Swedish Massage Therapy. Along with
my massage, I do range of motion and stretching techniques. It is important to
keep your joints and muscles loose and moving freely. I also use essential oils
with my massage.
I love doing massage
therapy! There is nothing more rewarding than to have a client come in feeling
bad and when they leave, there is a smile on their face and they tell you that
they feel better.

Esme Miller
Health Essentials Massage Therapist |

I am originally from South Africa, where
I had an herb nursery and taught people
about the health benefits of using fresh
herbs on a daily basis as culinary and
medical supplements.
My belief is that living health is a big part of being happy
and emotionally balanced. Integrating healthy lifestyles such
as getting regular massages to get rid of all the toxins in your
body and eating healthy foods is a big step towards living healthier.
Massage therapy is a necessity, not a luxury.
I studied massage therapy though the US Career Institute in Fort
Collins, CO. We specialized in Swedith massage, Deep Tissue
work, Sport Massage, Hydrotherapy and Aromatherapy. I utilize
many fresh herbs in the massage oils that I use on my clients.
Working with and helping people is the
most statisfying career anyone can follow
and I love every moment of my work.

Tess Phillips
Licensed Esthetician |
| |
I believe
the key to health is staying stress free.
I am happy to offer a line of Esthetic
services that not only maintain the health
of your skin, but help to provide relaxation
as well. I am a licensed Esthetician, and
also have a certification in microdermabrasion
and chemical peels.
My facials encourage
natural healing and increase the moisture in your skin while also increasing
the blood circulation to your face. Chemical peels use the acids of five different
fruit acids that help to diminish fine lines and even out the texture of the
skin.
Body treatments
are another excellent way for clients to relax and distress while also removing
toxins from the outer layers of the skin. The heat lamp helps to release the
toxins, and the herbology treatment smoothes, exfoliates and hydrates the skin
with Chinese herbs, which feed the skin with nutrients. I also offer a complete
waxing service, along with eyebrow and eyelash tinting.

Ear Candling Therapist |
| |
Ear
Candling is a safe and painless way of
maintaining good ear and sinus health.
Candling is a very effective treatment
for chronic ear infections, ear/sinus congestion
and earwax blockages. Ear Candling is a
non-invasive technique. As the candle burns,
it creates an upward draft, which gently
helps to draw out the built up secretions
and blockages. The process also assists
in balancing the fluids and pressure in
the ear, which greatly reduces pain, headaches
and nausea.
Ear Candling provides
a relaxing, warming treatment for the ear, sinus and lymphatic systems. The warmth
and herbs from the treatment boosts the immune system in the ear region. Allergies,
headaches, equilibrium problems, sinus problems and wax build up will quickly
improve with ear candling.
I have over 15 year
of candling experience and still find it fascinating to identify the fungal infections,
etc. that are withdrawn from the ear canal during the procedure. I encourage
everyone from infants to adults to utilize this beneficial service.

Debbi Lucas
Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioner |
| |
I am
a Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioner,
and as my title says, I believe in a holistic
approach to wellness. I view the body as
a flow system, which can be blocked in
various systems of the body. I try to help
you determine where those blockages are,
either from outside toxins, emotions or
other causes, and help you to restore the
natural flow to the various cycles of the
body.
I help find the right
nutritional balance for your optimal health, working with electro dermal screening.
I use an electro acupuncture device to measure energy flow through the meridians
of the body and help balance the energy using homeopathy and herbal supplements.
As a complimentary addition
to the energy measurement, I offer a saliva and urine test that measures your
cortisol patterns indicating your adrenal health and neurotransmitter levels.
Using a specifically designed plan for you, I help restore the flow in those
areas as well. I offer a free fifteen-minute consultation so that I can answer
your questions and start to prepare your wellness plan.
